At 20:19 on Wednesday, 12 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

HGV fire - this was a false alarm caused by a blown turbo. Crews contained oil spill.
