At 18:04 on Saturday, 15 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Newport .

6 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit were mobilised from Newport, Prees and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving small derelict agricultural building.
