At 14:26 on Sunday, 13 September, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

Crews have been called to assist with a horse that has fallen over inside a horse trailer. The owner and a Vet are in attendance - No action by Fire Service as horse had been brought back onto feet prior to arrival.
