At 07:45 on Wednesday, 28 October, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Weston Close, Morda.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Incident found to be a small fire involving food left unattended on cooker. Fire was out on arrival of fire service personnel. Property was smokelogged so fire service ventilated the building. 1 person suffering the effects of smoke inhalation was seen by ambulance personnel at the scene.
