At 16:27 on Saturday, 5 December, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Edgmond.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving ground floor utility of three storey property. One hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus, thermal image camera and positive pressure ventilation in use.
