At 16:34 on Tuesday, 5 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Whittington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving an oil fired boiler, found to be out upon the arrival of the Fire Service.
