At 05:36 on Wednesday, 6 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Kitchen fire extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet
