At 09:15 on Thursday, 7 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smell Of Gas in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and a utility company.

Smell of gas from within property found to be as a result of the gas hob being turned on without being ignited.
