At 17:15 on Wednesday, 13 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Flood Affecting Electrics in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear

Flooding involving a burst pipe in a 1st floor bathroom of domestic residential property. Crew isolated water supply and engaged in salvage operations.
