At 10:33 on Friday, 29 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Maesbrook.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and a utility company.

HGV in collision with electricity pole - no persons trapped.
