At 14:10 on Monday, 1 February, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Minsterley .

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Report of horse stuck in slurry pit. Horse had already released itself prior to arrival of fire service personnel so no action was required.
