At 17:23 on Saturday, 27 February, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wellington.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Crews are dealing with a small bonfire using a knapsack sprayer and shovels
