At 13:05 on Wednesday, 6 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tree Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 20SQM of hedgerow destroyed by fire. One hose reel jet used to extinguish.
