At 10:12 on Tuesday, 24 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small skip fire containing office rubbish, extinguished using one hose reel jet, thermal image camera also used to check for hot spots.
