At 10:21 on Saturday, 23 July, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
