At 11:51 on Friday, 12 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fence Fire in Shrewsbury.
1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Electric Saws/Cutters
- Hosereel jet
- Small gear
- Thermal imaging camera
Fire involving approx. 8sqm of timber fencing panels, 4 sqm of decking, one female suffering slight smoke inhalation. One hose reel jet used to extinguish, thermal imaging camera, and electrical saw also in use. Fire investigation also carried out.
