At 13:40 on Tuesday, 16 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Embankment.
8 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit, the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations, Hazmat and Safety officers were in attendance.
Field fire - approximately 26 hectares.
