At 11:07 on Thursday, 1 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

4 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Craven Arms, Ellesmere and Oswestry. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Small fire in oven in kitchen area - fire out on arrival - extinguished by on-site staff. Thermal Image Camera in use.
