At 13:35 on Tuesday, 6 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Field Of Straw in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

One field of stubble with 10 tonne straw alight.
