At 18:19 on Tuesday, 6 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in near the Bridgewater Arms, Wem Road, Harmer Hill.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Wellington and Wem.

RTC involving 1 car in collision with tree. 1 person trapped, extricated by fire service personnel using Holmatro cutting equipment, RTC gear and small gear, and taken to hospital by air ambulance.
