Smell Of Burning

At 04:29 on Thursday, 8 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Dry powder extinguisher
  • Hosereel jet
  • Positive Pressure Ventilation
  • Thermal imaging camera

Small fire contained inside Aga cooker, extinguished using dry powder extinguisher.
