At 10:03 on Friday, 28 October, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Cheswardine.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Fire involving approximately 6 tonnes of silage bales, a number of trees and undergrowth.
