At 10:30 on Saturday, 17 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Ketley, Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington.

Fire involving cooker in kitchen of semi detached dwelling house. Fire extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, firefighters wore breathing apparatus to deal with the incident. 1 casualty suffering from the effects of smoke was treated by firefighters using oxygen therapy equipment prior to the arrival of the Ambulance service.
