At 06:52 on Tuesday, 24 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Tern Hill.

5 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton, Prees and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 saloon car and 1 motorcycle. One male trapped in saloon car, extrication in progress using Holmatro cutting equipment. The A41 has been closed around the area for scene safety
