At 19:58 on Sunday, 26 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Cardington.
1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- 13.5m ladder
- Chimney rods
- Knapsacks
- Small gear
- Stirrup pump
Chimney fire spread to beam in property, small gear in use cutting away, chimney rods, stirrup pump, knapsack sprayer and 13.5m ladder also in use
