At 19:05 on Wednesday, 12 April, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small chimney fire involving a log burner. Chimney and small gear in use with Thermal Imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Fire now extinguished and Fire Safety advice being given
