At 11:35 on Sunday, 18 June, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Junction 2 - 3.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm good intent - thorough search of area made - nothing found.
