At 13:04 on Tuesday, 4 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in near Barnsley, Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 40m x 60m of undergrowth alight, two hose reel jets used to extinguish fire.
