At 13:21 on Sunday, 9 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Market Drayton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approx 150metres sq of grass and undergrowth alight. One hose reel used to extinguish.
