At 17:51 on Monday, 17 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Field Of Straw.

3 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Clun, Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Barley field on fire attended by 3 appliances from Shropshire from Tenbury
