At 11:29 on Sunday, 13 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shropshire Furnishings, Muckley Cross, Acton Round, Bridgnorth .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock.

The incident was found to be a controlled burn in a metal container which had been left unattended and spread to a nearby fence panel and the rear of the building. Inspection only by fire service personnel.
