At 22:54 on Sunday, 6 May, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Alveley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident involves unattended bonfire. Knapsack sprayer and rakes in use to extinguish the fire
