At 14:12 on Friday, 18 May, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Much Wenlock.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

1 horse successfully rescued from a stream embankment, horse left in care of vet and owner.
