At 17:17 on Wednesday, 6 June, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Small fire in open fireplace involving candles and wax. Extinguished using dry powder. Ventilation of property taken place.
