At 13:35 on Thursday, 7 June, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

One small Jack Russell dog stuck on embankment. Crews set up and used line safety equipment to successfully rescue the dog. The owner and Tiny, the dog, were happily reunited.
