At 11:47 on Saturday, 7 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in Dawley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Incident involving 10m x 30m of grass, undergrowth and trees on fire 1 hose reel and beaters used to extinguish the fire
