At 10:32 on Friday, 20 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Queen Elizabeth Drive, Oswestry .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Smell of burning in domestic property. This was found to be an overheating electric wall heater in the bathroom of the property which was isolated by fire crew. Positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke from property.
