At 13:59 on Wednesday, 25 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Landrover Pump were mobilised from Telford, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Fire involving grass and undergrowth near to woods locally known as The Cockshutt. Crews are using an extended hose reel jet, a knapsack sprayer and beaters to extinguish the fire.
