At 18:54 on Wednesday, 1 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ironbridge.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Much Wenlock and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

Fire involving a quantity of logs in open field with no responsible persons in attendance. 4x4 vehicle also in use from Tweedale.
