At 16:44 on Saturday, 18 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Fire involving one field of grass approximately 100 metres x 100 metres. Crews used beaters, knapsack sprayer and fogging unit to extinguish.
