At 11:31 on Thursday, 30 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Malinslee, Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Incident was found to be a false a alarm. The alarm had been raised due to a smell believed to be electrical burning.
