At 22:33 on Saturday, 8 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Reports of automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be fire involving aluminium rolling mill which was out on arrival of fire service. Fire Service crews carried out inspection using breathing apparatus
