At 13:01 on Saturday, 15 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ludlow and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

One sheep rescued from approximately 14ft inside a concrete bunker, using short extension ladder and a carry sheet. Sheep has been relocated back into the wild without injury.
