At 20:04 on Tuesday, 16 October, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Hodnet, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving large stack of bales, measuring approximately 30 metres x 10 metres. Two main jets in use to fight the fire.
