At 00:17 on Tuesday, 1 January, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rubbish Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Rubbish on fire in street caused by stray firework landing in pile of cardboard boxes. Crews extinguised using 1 hose reel jet.
