At 10:12 on Saturday, 9 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in A495 near Porth-y-Waen , Oswestry .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

RTC involving 1 car and 1 camper van. No persons trapped. Fire in camper van which was extinguished prior to arrival of fire service. Fire crew made vehicle electronically safe.
