At 16:43 on Friday, 22 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump

Chimney fire above open fire. Crews used chimney rods, small gear and undertook survey using thermal imaging camera.
