At 15:28 on Thursday, 18 April, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in South of Church Stretton .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

This incident involved a bonfire at the side of the A49. Fire crew used 1 hosereel jet, brooms and small tools to extinguish the fire. Police also in attendance.
