At 11:12 on Friday, 10 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Crews successfully released an eight week old Jack Russell dog, called Bobby, who was trapped in the mechanism of a sofa. This was done using small gear and the pedal cutter.
