At 20:37 on Friday, 17 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in near Lawley Common roundabout, Lawley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Call to smoke emitting from a vehicle. On arrival it was found to be a false alarm caused by a mechanical fault and no action was required by the fire service.
